ACADEMIC PROGRAMME
PRS approaches academic activities to provide stress-free, child-centered, and holistic education to all children without compromising on quality.
The institution aims at a better system of education using modern equipment and audio-visual aids in the teaching-learning process to make classroom teaching more effective and interesting.
The school lays emphasis on the development of cultural heritage both of Assam and India so that the students acquire a comprehensive knowledge of their motherland and develop a sense of involvement in it. Beginning from Playhouse to class XII, the school is a first step in the educational front of Academia Pinewood. The students passing out from this institution will shine bright in their respective careers and also as individuals.
The medium of instruction here is English. However, the pattern of four language formula is followed viz., English, Assamese, Hindi and Sanskrit. The institution tends to teach spoken English by trained faculty.
FACULTY
The school is equipped with well-trained, qualified and dedicated teaching staff, maintaining a teacher-student ratio of 1:25-30. In addition, there is a provision of orientation training of faculty members.

ASSESSMENT SCHEDULE
ATTENDANCE
- Parents are requested to ensure that their wards attend school regularly, are punctual and wear the proper uniform.
- Attendance on the first day and last day of each term is mandatory. 75 % attendance is a must.
- Parents are requested to make a note of the important dates and events given in the school academic calendar and plan trips/holidays accordingly.
- Parents should not send their wards to school if the child is unwell.
- A Medical Certificate must be submitted in case of absence for any illness which lasts 3 days or more.
SCHOOL UNIFORM RULES
- Students must wear the prescribed school uniform. Students accompanying their parents on PTMs must also come in their school uniform.
- Wearing of school uniform is not compulsory on a student’s birthday.
- It is compulsory to wear school ID cards.
- No valuables are to be worn to school.
- Nails must be kept short and clean. Nail polish and mehndi are not allowed.
- Hair must be kept neat and tidy. Hair below shoulder length must be neatly tied using only simple black hair bands and clips.
- Boys cannot sport long hair.
- Fancy haircuts, hair styling, dyeing, highlighting etc. are strictly not allowed.
- Senior boys are expected to be clean-shaven at all times.
- Wearing school belts is compulsory for all days.
RULES AND REGULATIONS GENERAL RULES
- Students are not permitted to keep any money.
- Parents/guardians are not permitted to meet the boarders without the permission of the Principal/Manager.
- No student should borrow money or cloth from others.
- During school hours, parents/guardians are not supposed to visit the wards.
- Information regarding vacation is sent to the parents much in advance. They are expected to collect and return their wards, strictly according to the instruction given.
- Any student indulging in activities prejudicial to the school's discipline may be expelled from the school. The decision of the Principal is final in such a case.
- The parents/guardians must report, if the student has been suffering from any infectious disease during holidays, and whether he/ she has received any treatment on this account.
- All school property must be handled with due care. Any damage to furniture, fittings, equipment, books etc will be recovered from the student’s account, besides punishments for wilful damage or negligence.
- The school reserve the right to change, modify or amend these rules prior notice.
